Orange Update: “Restricted Mode” edition Tuesday, April 4, 2006

Until the college semester is over for me, I will not post as often I wish (operating in restricted mode). Like I explained in the last blog, I want to focus on my studies. You guys do not want me to under achieve academically as much as I don’t, so it will be a while before the blog will be in full swing.
This does not mean I will disappear, it is just that I will probably be posting once a week (no more than two). I will, however, visit the blogs I love to read almost daily. So look for me commenting on your blog, that will not change.
In other news… I woke up this morning upset and without hearing in my right ear. I assumed my ear was clogged with ear wax [Eww!], like before, but at this very moment my serious fear of losing my hearing was lifted because my ear got unplugged. That’s a sigh a relief
! I was upset this morning and throughout the afternoon because I failed to wake up early to finish my Biology homework. That led me to be in my “Somber” mood, or semi-depression. Listening to some of the songs in the Cirque du Soleil soundtrack, “Varekai” did not help, I was almost tearing up. To top it all off, my Biology lecture this morning added to my somberness when I learned about fatal diseases (that I already know about) and how life is cut short for those people that have it. I guess that’s the way life works, right?
Did I mention that I saw the movie trailer to a movie about 9/11, more specifically Flight 93? I am going to see it, “United 93″, and think that Americans need to be reminded how we found courage that day, because the majority Americans lost it. So yeah, watching the trailer was depressing, but needed to say the least.
More on the movie (premiering on April 28), and my reaction when I watch it… After the Semester.

I also watched that trailer today. I thought it looked like the movie had some decent potential. I haven’t actually managed to get out to a movie in the theatres since Lord of the Rings PT3. Might just go see this one though.
yeah im hearing good things about the trailers.
ELMO
I wake sometimes with my hearing doing strange things too. Its all related to my allergies – maybe thats whats causing your problems as well, bud.
I’ve tried remedies on end for allergy problems, but haven’t found anything of benefit. Just that time of year.
Of course, man. Work and education comes first. We aren’t going anywhere. Like you said, just leave us a comment on occasion and let us know you’re still with us. Ha Ha.
Unfortunately I havent seen the trailer yet. I’m going to check it out on IMDB. It kinda reminds me of a line from Batman Begins…”People need examples to shock them out of apathy.” Well, our enemies certainly did that.
I look forward to the movie as well.
yes ive seen the trailer 2 and want to see the movie.
hey Vj, the good thing is that you know your priorities!
we’re only here to support ya.
anyways, yeah the gators-bruins match was uneventful because i knew bruins had no chance in winning just by watching the first half of the game!
it’s cool though.
also, i think i’m going to see United 93 as well. it’s playing on Tribeca Film Festival in NY, but i might just wait for regular screening on the 28th. looks interesting, but i’m telling you, this looks like one big tearjerker for me. heck i cried so hard when i watched the A&E special.
